Exactly What Are We Selling?
We’ve already refocused our target market. Experience over the last few years has taught us exactly who our services are most valuable to.Now we want to review our list of services, as they are promoted on our website, and readjust those too.
We are still all about the funnel:
But how prospects are generated and nurtured, especially in the B2B world, has changed. Many recent studies show that the vast majority of B2B buyers prefer to research potential purchases online before they speak to a salesperson. That’s where Bolen belongs. Providing the useful and relevant information that gently persuades.
So, new services list :
- email marketing
- online content
- sales tools
- search engine marketing and pay per click advertising
- SEO copywriting
- website navigation.
Also, I’ve shied away from labels like ’strategic marketing’ or ‘marketing consulting’ (or even worse - ’strategic marketing consulting’), it does describe a subset of what we do for that highly targeted B2B niche of ours. So I’ll probably include some flavor of that in my keyword phrases research.
Which, I guess, is what comes next (tomorrow).
