I am always happy when I can say what I want in 100-200 words. The size always looks very readable.

Brilliant, Bob! This is my number one business development pet peeve, too. How can I best attract the kind of clients that need my services and will benefit from an association with Aspire? Thank you for sharing your path to enlightenment with us.

Thanks so much for reporting on my session (and for sitting through my caffeine-fueled presentation.) I should note that a lot of SEO old-timers are still around - Detlev Johnson, Chris Sherman, Greg Boser and others. But certainly, SEO has changed quite a bit since I started long ago...

Hope you had a good trip back home. Thanks again!

Hi Bob -- good post, and particularly interesting your point about "under the radar" persuasion. You know, way back in college I used to think journalists were objective (that's the ideal anyway). Then I had a professor who stated, "all of communication is an attempt to persuade." I wanted to argue with him... but that would just prove his point. So, I think writers, and business bloggers in particular, are wise to focus on persuasive techniques that work to accomplish online business goals. - Scott

Bob,

A good business doesn't fight the power. It uses the power to its advantage. You know what Google wants, so go give it to them. Let your content and ad copy be the answers Google seeks.

Hi Bob

It was great meeting you! I'm glad you got some notes down. As you say, it's tough to capture 6 hours of non-stop presentations in just a few lines. But I like what you wrote down. You had a good ear for the most important threads I was working along.

Best wishes,

Nick
